Observatory

The record, in public.

An observatory here means exactly what it sounds like: a place where repeated, quality-controlled observations accumulate until change becomes visible. Photographs from fixed stations, paired with lake level and weather at capture time, published only after review.

Each monitored site gets its own observatory. There is one today.
